Estella Jean Bennett
July 30th, 1922 - February 18th, 2011
Estella Jean Bennett, born July 30, 1922 in Mapleton, Minnesota, returned home to be with our Father on February 18, 2011 in Shoreline. Estella was proud to be a part of the honored group of women called Rosie the Riveter who helped build the airplanes that helped win WW11. She earned an Arts degree at the U of W and could take a pencil to paper or brush to canvas and easily create a thing of beauty. She had enjoyed working at the King Dome Washington State Convention Trade Center but was forced to retire at the age of 82 after suffering a stroke. Two of her greatest joys were family fishing. We love you Mom, you will always be in our hearts. Survived by her children, Linda (Clarence) Devela, Melody (Robert) Henderson, Wade (Judy) Bennett, Gayla (Lyndon) Capon, Lance Bennett, Thomas (Tamara) Bennett; 14 grand-children and 6 great- grand-children. Preceded in death by her loving husband Milton Bennett and wonde grandson Clarence Devela Jr.
