Mary E. Blankenheim
June 9th, 1916 - March 17th, 2011
Mary Ella Blankenheim of Edmonds, WAl passed away on St. Patricks Day, March 17, 2011 at the age of 94. Mary was born in Bancroft, IA on June 9, 1916 to Thomas Cahill and Catherine Hagan Cahill. She is survived by her loving husband Leroy (Bud) Blankenheim of 63 years, who faithfully sat by her side eight to ten hours a day for the entire 2 years that she was lovingly cared for by Richmond Beach Rehabilitation in Shoreline, WA. She is also survived by her granddaughter Cricket Walker (Robert), three great grandchildren: Kelsey, Brandon and Courtney of Uxbridge, MA, her sister Hazel Morris of Edmonds, WA as well as several nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her only child Jack Blankenheim. Proud of her Irish Heritage, St. Patricks Day was a very special occasion and she celebrated it to the fullest. How appropriate she joined her son, Mom, Dad, and three brothers on that day.
