Online Obituaries for Lexington William Doyle Napier, 79, died Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Bluegrass Hospice Care Center. He was born in Krypton, Kentucky, son of the late William and Nellie Carroll Napier. He was retired from IBM, loved Bluegrass music, collecting old coins, going to the boat, driving, Natural Bridge family reunions, UK Basketball, he was grandchildrens best friend, family man who enjoyed all of his grandchildrens activities, had pet names for them, Papaws Angel, Gidget and Biggens and one of his favorite sayings was I know somebody who loves you. He is survived by his daughter, Lori {Jeffrey} Jones, Lexington; three sons, William Darren Napier, Illinois; Gary Wayne {Teresa} Napier, Ohio; Michael Kevin Napier, Lawrenceburg, Kentucky; sister, Iona Abbott, Richmond, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Amaya Jones, Justin Napier, Mikey Napier, Angela Napier, Lacy Napier, Megan Napier and Matthew Napier and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanette Banks and a brother, Fred Napier. Funeral Information Visitation will be 2- 5 p.m. Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Clark Legacy Center Brannon Crossing with private burial Monday, June 26, 2017 at the Riverview Cemetery, Beattyville, Kentucky.
