John McDonald, long time Edmonds resident, passed away on August 8, 2011. Born in Trail BC on July 17, 1933, John was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Annie McDonald and grandson Blazen. John spent his 45-year career as a sales rep in the wholesale furniture business, serving the Pacific NW. John is survived by his wife Nancy, children Bob McDonald of Lynnwood, Steve McDonald (Caroline) of Los Altos CA, Kevin McDonald (Elaine) of Edmonds, Karen Nielsen (Troy) of Renton, Jennifer Lewandowski (Sarah) of Bellevue, and eleven grandchildren. John will be remembered for his passion for the furniture industry, his sense of style and his love for his family.
