Online Obituaries for Lexington, Frankfort, and Versailles KY Juli Neal Ditty, 61, of Bonita Springs, Florida, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 30, 2015, at the University of Alabama-Birmingham Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama. Juli was born August 23, 1953 in Lexington, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Donald W. and Billie R. Neal. Juli married Jeffery L. Ditty in 1981 and shortly thereafter moved to Lexington. There, she and Jeff owned and operated a general contracting business before building and operating Lexington Mini-Storage. In 2006 they moved to Bonita Springs, Florida in 2006 and continued to play an active role in the management of their business. If you asked her, Juli would say her greatest joy in life came in raising her children and grandchildren. Her eyes would light up every time she spoke of them. Most recently you could find her walking the beach with her teacup Yorkshire terrier, Bear. Juli was preceded in death by her daughter, Gretchen Weinfurtner Leszczynski (Craig) of Lake Mary, Florida; two sisters, Cynthia Neal Tremel (Steve) and Lauren Jo Neal of Ashland, Kentucky. Survivors include her husband Jeff Ditty of Bonita Springs, Florida; son Dr. Benjamin Ditty (Ashleigh) of Hoover, Alabama; stepson Cameron Ditty (Melissa) of Cincinnati, Ohio; granddaughters Sarah Leszczynski of Lake Mary, Florida and Daphne Ditty of Cincinnati, Ohio; brother Donald Neal of Frankfort, Kentucky; and aunt Betsy Arnett (Jack) of Catlettsburg, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children. A funeral service honoring her life will be on June 3 at the Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Road, Nicholasville, KY. Bro. Mike Blankenship will officiate the service. The family will receive friends from 2pm until service time at 3:30pm. Final rest will be in Lake Mary, Florida. Funeral Information Funeral services will be Wednesday June 3 - 3:30 pm at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 2 until 3:30.
