Patricia Ladwig

“Patricia (Patti) Raeanne Ladwig died on February 23, 2013 at Mapleton Care Center, Lakewood, Colorado. Patti was born in Denver Colorado on October 16, 1936 to Raymond and Marguerite (Peg) Weiland. She attended Holy Family Catholic school and graduated in 1954. Patti married James Edward Ladwig on May 5, 1956. They had three children; Cheryl Pettid, Scott Ladwig and Timothy Ladwig. Patti worked in the family business of Weiland Greenhouses in Wheat Ridge. She also worked as a medical billing assistant for various physicians for nearly 40 years. Patti enjoyed sewing, knitting, camping, swimming, gardening and spending time with family and friends. Patti was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles where she was President of the Auxiliary during 1993-1994. Patti is preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother R.J.. She is survived by her children, Cheryl and her husband Marc Pettid, Scott Ladwig, Tim Ladwig and his partner Keith Malwitz, two grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and her brother Martin Weiland, and many nieces and nephews. She was full of community love and the family thanks everyone that supported her. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to the American Cancer Society, Mapleton Care Center, Denver Hospice or a charity of your choice.
