Orrin Leroy Olson born August 17, 1917 and died March 5, 2012. Orrin was born to Harry I. Olson and Clara (Larson) Olson in Willmar, Minnesota. He graduated from Lake Park High School in Lake Park, Minnesota in 1935. He married Genevieve Frances Seykora on May 21, 1941 in Waubun, Minnesota. He was a farmer and electrician as a young man, but he became a finish carpenter and worked at this trade for 35 years in Minnesota and Washington. He moved to Washington in 1967. He retired in 1982.Orrin was a devoted husband and father to his two sons. When you saw Orrin, Jenny was right with him. They loved to dance and would travel the country to find one. His family spent many hours at their lake cottage fishing, boating, and water skiing. He loved working in his flower gardens. He enjoyed traveling and would take off in a minute. He is survived by his two sons, Curtis L. Olson and Ardel M. Olson; by his brother Vergil H. Olson, and by 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.Orrin was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Genevieve; and his brother Arnold M. Olson.
