March 16th, 1935 - February 16th, 2009
Gordon Myhre Gordon Myhre, 73, husband of Mary Ann Myhre, passed away Monday, February 16, 2009. He was born in Baker, Montana to the late Helen and Orville C. Myhre. He liked playing golf, reading, traveling and playing with his grandchildren. He was a retired Hospital Administrator for the Department of Veterans Affairs, and also a former employee of Woodford Hills Country Club. Besides his wife he is also survived by two daughters, Joy (Jason) Henson, Lexington, and Karen (David) Venis, Versailles; three sons, Scott (Erin) Myhre, Lexington, Gregory (Amy) Myhre, WI; and Craig Myhre, England. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Madison Henson, Ella Myhre, Dylan Venis, Jennifer Myhre, Hannah Myhre, Abbey Myhre, Greg Myhre and Nicolas Myhre. He was preceded in death by a sister Lois. A Reflection of Life Service will be held on Friday February 20, 2009 at 7:30PM at Clark Legacy Center 601 E. Brannon Road with Father Dan Noll officiating. A gathering a family and friends will be from 5:00PM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Leo Capital Campaign, 295 Huntertown Road, Versailles, KY 40383 or Hospice of the Bluegrass, 208 Steele Street, Frankfort, KY 40601. Funeral Information A Reflection of Life Service will be held on Friday February 20, 2009 at 7:30PM Gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 until the time of serivce.
