Charles was born on October 19, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Thomas and Julia Porter Dickson. Charles was a retired Detroit Police Officer and was the retired Director of Security for Detroit Medical Center. Charles is survived by the following children Kim Asher and her husband Allen of Harrodsburg, Keith Dickson and his wife Annette of Detroit, Michigan, and Karen Brown and her husband Donnie of Frankfort, two brothers James and Jerry Dickson both of Texas. Charles is also survived by 3 grandchildren Jeremy Thompson, Houston Brown, and C. Grant Brown, 7 step grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Besides his parents Charles was preceded in death by his wife Freda Sutherland Dickson, one son Thomas Christopher Dickson and one sister Diane Roy. Funeral Information Funeral services for Charles Fred Dickson will be conducted at 1:00 PM Thursday at the Clark Legacy Center in Frankfort, Kentucky. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens in Frankfort, Kentucky. The family will receive friends from 5-8PM Wednesday at the Clark Legacy Center in Frankfort, Kentucky.
