Joseph Joe Dunne, 84 years, died August 22, 2012 in Edmonds. Joe was born February 22, 1928 in Manhattan, NY to Joe and Grace Dunne. He grew up in New York; entering the U.S. Marine Corps following high school. Joe moved to Butte MT to enter the Montana School of Mining Engineering. This is where he met the love of his life, Joyce Ahrens. After they were married he joined the Montana State Highway Patrol graduating 2nd in his class. They moved to the Seattle area where he worked for American Tobacco / RJ Reynolds for 35 years. They also owned Video Corner in Edmonds for many years. Joe is survived by his loving wife, Joyce, daughter Candace Dunne Budhram, son, Joseph Dunne III (Denice), son, James Dunne (Rochelle); daughter Cathe Dunne-Mott (Rob); grandchildren: Mary, Kelsey, Trevor, Joe, and Julie; and great grandson, Damian. He was preceded in death by his son, Joel Robert Dunne in 1989.
