Ronald Lynn Meicho
August 13th, 1956 - August 15th, 2012
Ronald Lynn Meicho, 56, was born August 13, 1956 in Seattle WA and passed away unexpectedly on August 15, 2012 while doing something he loved, a camping and canoeing adventure in B.C. with his children. He graduated from Shoreline High School in 1974 and received his Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from the UW in 1987. He worked earlier for the City of Bothell, WA and most recently, for Gray and Osborne Inc. in Seattle. He resided in Edmonds, WA. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Cary; their children, Sara and Zachary; his parents, James and EmmaLou; and his brother Keith. Ron was devoted to his family and especially enjoyed watching his children participate in sports activities such as ice hockey and sor. He loved building and racing model sailboats called T-37s and was Vice Commodore of the Pacific Northwest Model Yacht Club. Other interests included hiking, camping and fishing. Ron was a kind man, always volunteering and helping others. Always dependable, never rushed and a mentor to many. A private interment will be held at a later date.
