Online Obituaries for Versailles KY Leon Sims, 67, husband of Loretta Leigh Sims, passed away Thursday, October 01, 2015. He was born in Versailles, Kentucky to the late Henry Howard Sims and Bessie Quisenberry Sims. Mr. Sims was a craftsman employed by Rand McNally Corporation. He was a Veteran of the US Army, Vietnam War. He was a member at New Hope Baptist and past officer at American Legion Post #67. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Tonia Cummins of Lawrenceburg, Sonia Spencer of Lawrenceburg, Patsy Gentry of Georgetown, Jennifer Routt, Jackie Owen, and Jill Littleton all of Versailles; his sisters, Mary King , Betty Hatton both of Lawrenceburg, JoAnn Beasley, and Doris Flora both of Versailles; his grandchildren, Leah Cummins, Tara Cummins, Mallory Sims, Josh Cairell, Lauren Murley, William Gentry, Jonah Gentry , Bayleigh Routt, Summer Parks, Cody Owen and Greer Littleton. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Henry "Jug" Sims, Bobby Sims, Tommy Sims, and Paul Sims. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, October 05, 2015 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill, officiated by Mark Sims and Tony Hatton. Burial will follow at Rose Crest Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-5 PM at the funeral home. Serving as casketbearers will be Brian King, Jeff Crowe, Mathew Sims, Kevin Cummins, Larry Beasley, and Kevin Flora
