Obituary VERSAILLES- Georgia Alice Tilghman Long, 91,widow of Rev. Homer D. Long, died Thursday, August 16, 2012. A native of Woodford County, she was born on May 16, 1921 to the late David Veal and Ora Lee Cloyd Tilghman. She was a retired clerk at Kentucky Utilities and a member of Versailles Baptist Church. Mrs. Long is survived by her son, John (Connie) Long, Versailles; grandson, Jody (Amanda) Long, and great granddaughters, Peyton Elyzabeth Paige Long and Harley Alexis Long. Funeral Information Funeral services will be 1pm Monday at Clark Funeral Home Rose Hill with Rev. John Brandon officiating. Burial will follow in Versailles Cemetery. Serving as casketbearers will be Jody Long, Don Richardson, Kenny Tilgman, Bill Klier, Jimmy Jarman and Tim Goins. Honorary casketbearers will be John "Witt" Biggerstaff, George Hellard, Ron Hellard, Marvin Cox, Tommy Tilghman and Sherman Lay. Visitation will be Monday 11am until time of service at the funeral home.
