Online Obituaries for Lexington, Frankfort, and Versailles KY Versailles - Eugene Gill, 90, husband of Anna Bowman Gill, died Sunday, July 13. Mr. Gill was born in Owen County, Kentucky on December 19, 1923, to Ewell and Lillie Lucas Gill. He was a retired employee of National Distillery and a member of Faith Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Peggy (Ed) Crum, of Louisville; his sons, Sammy (Vicki) Riddle, of Midway and Denny Riddle, of Frankfort; his grandchildren, Becky (Jeff) Johnson, Bryan (Colleen) Crum, Bruce (Kari) Crum, Katie (Jeff) Kees, Michael Gill, Benjamin (Elizabeth) Gill, Ryan Gill, Joshua (Jeslyn) Gill, Jason (Tiffany) Riddle, Michele (James) Charas, Melissa (Gary) Means, Shane (Suzette) Riddle, Geri (Timmy) Ball, Sara (Paul) Slusher, Bryan Atwood; 14 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Mike Gill. Funeral Information Services will be held 11:00AM, Thursday, July 17 at Clark Legacy Center, Frankfort, with Pastor Joe Collins and Pastor Kenny Robinson officiating. Casketbearers will be Bruce Crum, Bryan Crum, Michael Gill, Benjamin Gill, Ryan Gill, Joshua Gill, Shane Riddle and Jason Riddle. Visitation will be held 5-8PM Wednesday, July 16 at the Legacy Center.
