Nicholasville, KY Carl Denver Quillen, 63, died January 5, 2016. He is survived by his mother Dorothy (Roller) Smithey; daughter Sandra Quillen Cox; son Carl K. Quillen; sister Debbie (John) Scott and Kathy Salyers; brother David (Edna) Quillen; grandchildren Kenny Quillen, Tiffany Knott, Zachery Miller, Madison Cox, Cameron Pope and Micah Knott; great grandchildren Aralyne Minnick and Story Lane. He is preceded in death by his father Roy Denver Quillen and granddaughter Ashley Quillen. Carl enjoyed collecting and "Tinkering" with clocks in his spare time. In younger years, he liked to go boating and fishing. Lately, he liked to visit Flea Markets and hang out at home with his family and friends. Carl will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral Information There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends from 5-7 PM, Friday, January 8, 2016 at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing, Nicholasville, KY. A Celebration of Carl's life will be at 10 AM, Saturday, January 9, 2016, followed by burial at Maple Grove Cemetery in Nicholasville at 11 AM.
