Martha Gay Gill, 73, wife of William "Bill" Spencer Gill, died Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at her residence in Lexington. She was born in Lexington, daughter of the late Robert Kirk and Virginia Jesse Gay. She was a retired Judicial Secretary for Judge Paul D. Gudgel, a member of Southland Christian Church and a 1963 graduate of Lafayette High School. Surviving besides her husband, Bill, are two daughters, Merritt Gill (Joseph H.) Moore, Jr., Woodbury, Minnesota; Julia Gill (Kelly) Wallin, Lexington; two brothers, Robert E. (Faye) Gay, and William R. (Frankie) Gay, Lexington; and five grandchildren, Joseph H. Moore III, Meagan Moore and Madelyn Moore, Woodbury, Minnesota, Connor Wallin and Avery Wallin, Lexington. She was preceded in death by a sister, Julia Gay Florence. Visitation will be 5-7 pm. Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Clark Legacy Center-Brannon Crossing. Funeral service 10:30 am. Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Clark Legacy Center-Brannon Crossing, burial in the Lexington Cemetery.
