Obituary George J. Locker, 72, born Feb 3, 1938, passed away at his home in Nicholasville, KY, on Thur, May 20, 2010. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a retiree of the Federal Prison System (NARCO). A devoted husband, father and grandfather, George is survived by his wife of 53 years, Georgia M. Locker; two daughters, Carol F. Holbrook and Pattie L. (David) Elliott, Wilmore, KY; son, Donald E. (Rena) Locker, Marbury, AL; grandchildren, Kim Basham, Tera Lindsay, April (Bo) Starnes, Jennifer and Anthony Locker, Chris Miller, Brandi and Brandon Locker, Amanda and David Elliott, Shane and Savannah Locker, and Tabatha (Ryan) McNutt; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Joann (Len) Goss; nephew, Vernon (Phylis) Goss; and niece, Cheryl (Darrel) Bivens. He was preceded in death by sons, George B. (Rhonda) and Richard A. (Sarah) Locker. He is the son of the late Louise Curtsinger. He was also an avid UK sports fan, as well as a West Jessamine High School basketball and fooftball fan, and longtime Little League football coach in Jessamine County. Funeral Information Visitation will be 4-7pm, Monday, May 24 at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing. A Celebration of Life Service followed at 7pm, officiated by Pastor Steve Sholar.
