Nicholasville, KY James E. Pryse, 75, died April 16, 2016. He is survived by his wife OraMae (Green) Pryse; daughters Becky (Keith) Bolton and Belinda Hurst; son Billy (Holly) Pryse; sister Myra Bottoms; brother John (Aimee) Pryse; grandchildren Nikki Ellison, Lindsey Mink, Shaylin Pryse, Delaney Pryse, Tana Hurst, Camryn Pryse, Keaton Pryse and Trey Hurst and great grandchild Laken Ellison. He is preceded in death by his parents W. T. and Myrtie (Johnson) Pryse and brother-in-law John Bottoms. James was an active member of the Crosswoods Baptist Church where he helped with caring for the church grounds and serving as an Usher. In his youth, he love to duck hunt, but of late, he spent his off times collecting antique cars and visiting the car shows. James was a jack-of-all trades able to wield, plumb or do carpentry and was always willing to helps someone with one of their projects. When he was indoors, he enjoyed a good book, but his real love was being in the outdoors, especially on the family farm. If you knew James, you got the opportunity to enjoy his great sense of humor and knew of his love for his buddy Snickers. Funeral Information There will be a visitation from 4-7 PM, April 19, 2016 at Crosswoods Baptist Church on Brannon Road, followed by a funeral service at 7 PM.
