Frankfort, KY Linda M. Aldridge-Wilson (72) passed away peacefully when the Angels came for her in the early morning of October 6th, 2015. She was surrounded by her family and life long friends by her side. She is survived by her current husband of 4 years, June Wilson and her children. Royce E. Gaines, Ronald Aldridge,Jr., Rhonda Phillips (John), Rodney Aldridge and Teena Oaken(Dean) and her step children Carey Wilson(Carolyn), Daniel Wilson(Laurie) Chandra Reed (Danny) Orlando, Fl . She is survived by 10 grandchildren Jason Graves (Tamra), Mitch Phillips, Hailee Rogers, Madison Rogers, Taylor Oaken, Gracee Oaken, Christina Aldridge Jackson (Pittsburg, Pa) Trae Aldridge (Pittsburg, Pa) Gabriella Decker Shalien Gaines and 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Ronald C. Aldridge.,Sr. her parents Roy and Marshie (Caudill) Mitchell,Sr. And her siblings Roy Mitchell,Jr., Marie Stallard, Josephine Morgan Christine Wyatt. If you asked Linda about her greatest accomplishment in life, she would undoubtedly say it was sharing the Love of Jesus Christ and her family. Born on July 20, 1943 Linda was a lifelong resident of Frankfort, Ky., and spent most of her life raising her family and working with her husband's family business, R.A. Distributors. She was the activities Director at Franklin Manor Nursing Home and touched countless lives through her love of Jesus with families and residents. She later retired from the state Dept. of KHEAA. She spent countless hours helping others. She loved to travel domestically internationally and created a Friday Night widows group from Hospice that allowed widows to grieve, fellowship, develop friendship and travel safely with each other. She loved the beach and she absolutely loved to dance with her Seniors group additionally she enjoyed time with the Oasis group , S.O.S Senior Citizens Sr. Linda loved her family, her church family (Faith Baptist) community and friends, and her goal each day was to do everything she could to share God's love, prayer, devotion and laughter. She was exuberant about living life to fullest. She had a special gift of seeing potential in others and encouraging them. She led multitudes to Jesus Christ and formed lifelong friendship that are to be acknowledged and admired for generations. One could only be so lucky to have friends as she. Linda also leave her most trusted and faithful companions Cricket Prissy Aldridge (pets) Funeral Information Visitation will be Thursday, October 8th from 4-8 pm at Clark Legacy Center. Additional visitation will precede her Celebration of life at Faith Baptist Church Friday, October 9th, from 11 am -1pm. The service will be held at 1pm. followed by lunch. We invite friends to join for after the celebration with stories, photos and fellowship at Faith Baptist Church. Casket bearers will be her grandchildren. Jason Graves, Mitch Phillips, Hailee Rogers, Madison Rogers, Taylor Oaken, Christina Aldridge Jackson, Ronald Aldridge III (Trae), Ronald Aldridge, Jr, Royce Gaines, Matthew Johnson Tre Winkfield, Honorary bearers will be her lifelong friends., Gladys Hutcherson, Judy Bailey, Susan Moore, Donna Russell, Ruth Bragg, Yvonne Hill, Bea McGaughey, Bessie Haddock, Betty Grider, Deborah Drury, Jude Goodlett Alice (Bobbi) Weber. .
