Norman Levin

Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away August 29, 2009 at his home in Northglenn, Colorado. He was 75 years old. Born to Lula and Reuben Levin of Bennington, Vermont, in December 25, 1933. Bruce served in the United States Air Force, fought in the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1955. He married Inez Ramburg, May 1, 1954 in Hutchinson, Minnesota. They moved to Denver, Colorado in 1955. He was a charter member of the Northglenn American Legion Post 22. Bruce retired from the United States Postal Service in 1988. He is survived by his wife Inez of Northglenn, daughter Koko and Joe Foley also of Northglenn, son Roger and Suzy Levin, of Thornton, Colorado, son Robert and Jody Levin of Cheyenne, Wyoming, granddaughter Shanna and Mike Ortiz of Thornton, grandson Nick Foley of Northglenn, granddaughter Rebecca Levin of Iowa City, Iowa, grandson Jake Levin of Thornton and grandson Nate Levin of Thornton, great granddaughter Siana Ortiz of Northglenn and great grandson Ray Ortiz of Northglenn and numerous loving friends. In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his sisters Priscilla and Corrinne and his son Jimmy. Services and final burial will be held on September 9, 2009 at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. A memorial will follow at the Northglenn American Legion Post 22, beginning at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations are sent to the Matthew Foley Memorial Scholarship Fund in c/o Mary Hutchinson, 1219 Broken Feather Ct, Reno, NV 89511.
