Stanye DeBell Adkinson

Berea, Kentucky Berea- Stanye DeBell Adkinson, 70, wife of Gerald W. "Sam" Adkinson of Berea, formerly of Lexington and Garrard County, died Tues, Jan 28, 2014 at Hospice Care Plus/Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. She was born in Lebanon, Tennessee to the late L. Marvin and Marjorie Demaree DeBell. She was a retired Secretary Treasurer for Consolidated Design Consultants, Inc. A member of Lafayette Christian Church, Lexington and she attended Union Church and First Christian Church in Berea. She had been very active in the Ombudsman Association in Madison County and she was a lover of small animals, birds and dogs. Surviving besides her husband are her daughters, Megan A. Fromer of Lexington, KY , Suzanne (Randy) Suciu of Grosse Pointe Park, MI, Sandra J. Adkinson of Versailles, KY, Amy (Jay) Williams of Lexington, KY and Jennifer (Chad) Doser of Lancaster, KY; brother, Marvin (Shelley) DeBell , Lexington, KY; nine grandchildren, Izabella F. Becherer, Alexandria Williams, Sloane Suciu, Travis Doser, Tyler Suciu, Kaitlyn Williams, Madeline Casselman, Tychsen Williams and Samantha Doser; one great grandchild, Zoey Troy. She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Todd Fromer and her grandson, Drew Casares. Funeral Information A celebration of her life will be 4-7 pm, Friday, February 14, 2014 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. A memorial service will follow conducted by Peter Haik, PhD.
