Larry John Rocky Rogavich was born in Seattle on November 15, 1928 and died May 23, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Jack Rogavich and Helen(Roczski) Rogavich, sisters Bernadette Sjolseth and Jacqueline Neville, nephew Thomas Siemion and niece Laurie Madson. He is survived by his sisters Regina Siemion and Elizabeth Reinke and his beloved nieces and nephews: Patricia Wagner (Ron), Janlynne McDonald (Jim), Philip Siemion, Randall Reinke and Jamie Mason (Mickey). There are numerous great and great-great family members and friends who experienced his generosity.Larry graduated from St. Annes in1943 and Queen Anne High in 1947. After a stint in the army, he went to work of Pacific Northwest Bell. He laid phone lines under Seattle. Only Larry knows where the lines are buried. Now there are cell towers. He was the owner of one of the first 1955 T-Birds in Seattle. It was turquoise with a white top. When it pulled up in front of grandmas house we were in awe.For the last 30 years he lived on Queen Anne. During those years he really loved to SHOP, but not for himself, but to give to others. He really Loved to give. All of his friends and family received his gifts. All he asked in return was A few kind words. He was always ready for a good time, no matter where he ended up! He lived a wonde life, full of adventures. At his home on Lake Washington he never met a person to whom he couldnt tell a story. Larry will be missed by everybody, but most of all on Queen Anne Hill, where the Rogavich family has lived for 105 years, first at 110 Crockett and then 220 Crockett.A celebration of Larry/Rockys life will be held at a later date.
