Lisa Katherine Young, 61, was born September 16, 1955 in Seattle to parents, Maury and Lorraine Balin. She passed away peacefully on April 18, 2017 after a 6-year battle with Cancer.An avid gardener; youd often find Lisa covered in dirt and enjoying every minute of it. She was a long-time member of the Pacific Northwest Boxer Club. She spent many years involved with animal rescue and was a certified dog trainer. There wasnt a dog that would walk by her that she wouldnt have to pet.Lisa was employed by Group Health Co-operative in the Communications Department for many years until their relocation.She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Lorraine and Maury Balin. She is survived by her sisters, Carol E Watson, Claudia Shackleford and Francine Balin; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.She will be forever in our hearts. A Celebration of Life will be held privately for family and friends. Remembrances may be made to Old Dog Haven or the animal rescue group of your choice.
