Cathy Nadine Brumback

65, wife of David E. Brumback, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018. She was a native of Versailles, KY, born on February 28, 1952 to the late Alice Duncan Yount and Charles W. Shumate. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, and worked as an administrative assistant for the Woodford Co. Board of Education. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters Lisa Smith, Versailles; Rena̒ Cooper, Versailles; step-son David A. Brumback, Versailles; sister Sue (Tom) McKnight, FL; brother Charles Shumate, TN; grandchildren Nicole Lewis; Bryana Smith; Michael Shepard; Elizabeth Shepard; Christopher Graham; Joseph Brumback; and her great granddaughter Kylee Rena̒ Walton. Funeral services will be held 10:30am Monday, February 5, 2018 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill. Dr. Thomas McKnight will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be Michael Shepard, Christopher Graham, Kendall Smith, David A. Brumback, Bryana Smith, and Nicole Lewis. Visitation will Sunday, February 4, 2018 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Woodford County Humane Society.
