Bob Saffell
February 27th, 1936 - February 13th, 2018
J. Robert (Bob) Saffell, 81, of Versailles, Kentucky, retired Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 13, 2018. Born in Junction City, Kansas to Perry and Viola Saffell, he met his loving wife, Adrienne at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, where he also received his Juris Doctorate. Bob is survived by his children, Janis of Miami, Florida, Bob and his wife Lyna of Salt Lake City, Utah and by his nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 AM at St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Versailles on Friday, February 16. Mass of Celebration with Fr. Danny Schwendeman will follow at 10:30. The family is grateful for the loving caregivers in the CCU and Hospice Care units at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Leo’s Building Fund or the PWCCA Charitable Trust.
