VERSAILLES-Linda D. McDaniel, 71, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018. A native of Versailles, Kentucky she was born on March 3, 1946 to the late John and Lucille Lane Douglas. Ms. McDaniel was a member of Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Melinda Ann Jones, Versailles; her step daughter, Kellie (Chris) Griffie, Versailles; her sisters, Mary Adams, Frankfort and Jane Bowman, Versailles; her brother, Douglas M. (Margie) Douglas, TX; and her grandchildren, Allie and Aaron Griffie. She is preceded in death by her brother, Phillip Douglas; and her sister, Wanda Lancaster Roark. Visitation will be Friday, March 2, 2018 from 4:30 PM until 6:30 PM at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill. Funeral service will follow at 6:30 PM. Honorary casketbearers will be Mike Lancaster, Douglas “Brandy” Lancaster, Tony B. Lancaster, Woodford D. Roark, Willie Hensley, Vincent Tabscott, Brandon Douglas, Doug Douglas, Steve Adams, Wade Adams, Chris Griffie, Wesley McDaniel and Greg A. Stephens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Woodford County Humane Society, in memory of her furry grandson, Harley.
