Rita B. Taylor
November 19th, 1932 - March 28th, 2018
Rita B. Taylor, 85, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018. Married 50 years to the late William Marion “Bill” Taylor, Rita was born November 19, 1932 to the late Curtis and Ann Penn Burge in Frankfort, Kentucky. A University of Kentucky basketball fan, Rita enjoyed bowling, and paperback novels. There was just something about holding a good thriller or western paperback in her hands. She loved holidays, especially Christmas. Having her family together and feeding them her soul food was something she always enjoyed and looked forward to. Rita is survived by her sons, Dan Taylor, Jim (Anita) Taylor, and William “Brad” (Linda) Taylor, all of Frankfort; sister, Mary Anne (Johnny) Hearn, Frankfort; grandchildren, James Donavon (Amber), Christy Taylor Spradlin, Coty Taylor, William Bradford “BJ” (Tonya) Taylor, Jr, Derrick E. (Lea) Taylor, and Rita Michelle Wethington; great grandchildren, Chevyele, Taylor, Zachary, Brady, Isabella, Ava, Cason, Mia, Elizabeth, and Kaylie; and numerous nieces and nephews . She was preceded in death by her brothers, Eugene Burge and Bobby Burge. No services are planned at this time.
