Midway – Ray Popp, 64, husband of Linda Shryock Popp, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018 in Lexington. He was born in Frankfort, KY on September 7, 1953 to the late Orville Lee and Ada Jones Popp. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Ginger (Mike) Hill; his son, Matthew (Kassie) Popp; and grandchildren, Kevin Hill, Jason Hill, Carter Martin, Madison Hill, Kaylie Popp and Ashlyn Popp. Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 1:30PM at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill. Rev. Randy Nation will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as pall bearers will be Matt McCall, Jeff Kincaid, Travis Brown, Jeremy Shryock, Ryan Roark, Jason Lewis, Thomas Tipton, Charlie Nuckols and Carter Martin. Honorary pall bearers will be Johnny Popp, Wayne Popp, Mike Richardson, Teddy Greathouse, Mac Weisenburger, Lloyd Jones, Robert McCall, Tom Bozarth, Malcolm Endicott, Steve Moberly and Danny White. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 until 8PM at Moss Hill Country Club in Versailles. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Cowboy Up for a Cure. www.clarklegacycenter.com
