Ronnie Dale Belden
November 10th, 1948 - April 12th, 2018
LEXINGTON- Ronnie Belden, 69, husband of Willena Jeane Belden, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018. He was born in Wimauma, Florida on November 10, 1948 to the late Clarence and Rhoda Summers Belden. Mr. Belden was a Captain at the Fayette County Detention Center for 13 years and the owner of Wind River Pottery. He was a member of the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen. In addition to his love of pottery, Mr. Belden enjoyed bicycling, traveling and photography. Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons, Brian (Josette) Belden, and Shayne (Beth) Belden, both of Lexington; his sisters, Florence Brown, FL, Gertrude Fuqua, Lexington and Frances (Fred) Cox, Lexington; his brother, Donnie Belden, Lexington; and his grandchildren, Indigo Cunningham, William King, Isabella Belden, Abigail King, Raidyn Morian, Willa Grace Belden, Wyatt Belden and Henry Belden. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 2PM to 5PM at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. www.lls.org.
