VERSAILLES- Ben G. Taylor, 93, husband of Valeria E. Taylor, passed away Friday, April 13, 2018. He was born on October 30, 1924 to the late Anna Rose Woods Taylor and Ben G. Taylor, Sr. in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. Mr. Taylor was a veteran in the United States Navy, having served in World War II. He retired from North American Phillips as an Engineer and was also an Eagle Scout. Mr. Taylor was very active in church where he was a member of Southland Christian Church, Journey Church and Bluegrass Christian Men’s Fellowship. In addition to his wife of 67 years, he is survived by his children, R.J. Taylor, NC, Barb Lincoln, GA, Ken (Diana) Taylor, IN and Larry (Regina) Taylor, Versailles; his sisters-in-law, Gertrude Peach and Sybil Smith, both of Lawrenceburg; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be 10AM Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill with Rev. Randy Nation officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be Casey Taylor, Jay Million, Rick Haven, John Fischer, Jeff Smith, David Iglehart, John Dale, Chris Grambrell and Greg Williams. Honorary casketbearers will be the Seasoned Warriors Class at Journey Church. Visitation will be Monday, April 16, 2018 from 6PM-8PM at the funeral home.
