James William “Hoppy” Hopkins, Jr. 62, died April 30, 2018. He is survived by his wife Pamela (Mattingly) Hopkins; daughters Krissy Hopkins and Jessica Hopkins; mother Beulah L. (Cauldwell) Hopkins; sisters Myra Wafford and Mary Allender and grandchildren Kaylin Campbell, Camryn Burton and David Campbell. He is preceded in death by his father James W. Hopkins; sister Belva Toohey and brother John Hopkins. Hoppy was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt rabbit and deer. He enjoyed working in the yard where he could visit with all of his neighbors. Hoppy enjoyed his work at Strong Electric Company as a master electrician where he retired. When he wasn’t watching his favorite TV show, he was visiting with family and friends. Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church 114 E Main St, Lebanon, KY 40033.
