Norma Jean Hogan, the widow of Harold H. Hogan, passed to her heavenly home in the early hours of May 26, 2018. She was 80 years old. Norma was a member of the First Baptist Church of Frankfort, KY, as well as, a graduate of Kentucky State University and spent time on their Foundation Board. She also worked for the State of Kentucky in the Department of Civil rights for 35 years. Norma is survived by her step-children: Anita Nevils, Janet Haynes, and Robert Hogan; sister-in-laws : Adranna H. Hardin, Sherly Hogan, Toni Smith; brother-in-law: Victor Hogan; 13 step-grandchildren, 5 step-great grandchildren; and a step-great great grandchild. Along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews of the Hogan, Jones, Harris, Roberts, Winfield, Williams, and Washington Families. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her mother Willie Mae Harris; brother-in-law: Robert E. Hogan; uncles: Hampton Jones, Melvin Jones, James Jones; aunts: Anna Winfield and Katie Lee Jones. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Friday, June 1, 2018 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Rev. Donald Townsend and Rev. David Blankenship will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 am Friday until the start of the service at the funeral home.
