Frankfort – Russell Duane Mott, 81, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018. He was born in Pleasant Grove, IA on December 3, 1936 to the late Francis Russell and Mary Artell Miller Mott. He was a veteran, having served in the Army, and worked as a service manager for Northside RV. He is survived by his children, Becky (Dave) Tavis, CO, Robert (Tracy) Mott, Lexington, Duane (Kim) Mott, Paris, and Sheryl (Gary) Daniel, Frankfort; his sisters, Leota McDannel, TX, and Carolyn Burgett, AZ; his grandchildren, Paul (Emily) Daniel, Chris (Taylor) Daniel, Melissa Harry, Marc Porter, Joey Porter, Skylar Tavis, Ana Mott, Zack Klimper, Amanda Hayes, Cameron Mott, Andy deburlet, Gregg Shroyer, Kristen Shroyer, and Kara (Greg) Zornes; and his 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Jones Mott, and his daughter, Malinda deBurlet. Graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Program.
