Rossi Nelson Highland

A little girl of 71 left us, with memories of lifes wonder and beauty through sparkling green eyes of form, light and colors. Rossis abundant bubbles that could lift you, a room, a chapel and more, have lifted her beyond us for now. Her widespread residences across this country and the Caribbean provided us with so many stories of her adventures, the people she met and loved as well as the pets and animals she was oh-so fond of. Motion of body through skating, windsurfing, scuba and horseback riding added to that bubbling vibrancy, but creation and design were her passion. A Santa Barbara craft store manager, her love of colors and light led her in and out of art in many forms since childhood. Not to stop with painting, pastels, glass or wood, this creation lapsed into published poetry, gardening, dcor and that ability to make wherever she was, more than a little comfortable. Rossi leaves us with two fine sons, Wes (Lara) and Tony (Rea) Warrecker of Santa Barbara who blessed her with a wonderful visit just before her passing and four awesome grandchildren. Brother Tracy (Diane) twin brother Clay (Susan) Nelson of Bozeman MT, and sister Joy Eckhardt of Jerome ID. Nieces Audre, Holly, Elizabeth and Cheyenne. Nephews Brandon, Clay James; and her husband of 17 years, Scott Highland. Love you always...and a little more.
