Reba Lynn Catron
July 2nd, 1961 - July 28th, 2018
Reba Lynn Catron Beirise, 57, of Lexington passed away on Saturday July 28, 2018 after a short illness. She was surrounded by her loving husband Timothy A. Beirise, her son Matthew D. Alexander (Denisha) of Caneyville, KY, and her daughter Laura C. Hoover (Zachary) of Anderson, IN. Reba was born on July 2, 1961 in Corbin, KY, daughter of Dr. Frank H. Catron (Jann) and the late Rev. Deacon Janie G. Catron from whom Reba received her love of medicine and nursing. Reba was a family nurse practitioner and graduated from the nursing programs at Somerset Community College and EKU before completing her master’s degree at EKU. To her family she was always a cut up, laughing and doing outrageous things to keep us in stitches. She adored her grandson Collin Alexander and her granddaughter Easton Alexander. Granna and Pawpaw Tim’s home is filled with pictures and mementos of Collin and Easton. She will be fondly missed by all who knew her. Reba is also survived by her siblings, Frances Catron Cadle (Ron), Lexington, KY; Dr. Charles Paul Catron (Nicky), Spartanburg, SC; and James Catron (Lillian), London, KY; nephews and nieces Frank Thomas, Frankfort, KY; Takoda Hacker and Emily Catron, London, KY; Mary Lauren and Julia Catron, Spartanburg, SC; Frank H. Catron III “Hank” of Lindale, GA; along with a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother Frank H. “Casey” Catron Jr. Visitation will be held on August 3, 2018 at Clark Legacy Center, 601 E. Brannon Road, Nicholasville, KY, from 3:00 – 6:00 PM. A celebration of Reba’s life will be held immediately following the visitation. A graveside service will be held near her hometown of Corbin at as she is laid to rest in the family plot in Pleasant View, KY on August 4, 2018 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to The Lexington Rescue Mission at 444 Glen Arvin Ave, Lexington, KY.
