Thomas Walter Garrison
November 21st, 1936 - December 17th, 2018
Thomas Walter Garrison, 82 of Nicholasville, KY passed away December 17, 2018 at his residence. Tom was born to the late Thomas E. Garrison and Clara (Poetz) Garrison on November 21, 1936 in St. Louis, Mo, and the older brother of Jim Garrison and the late Nellie Garrison. He was married to Mary Lou (Schaper) in 1958. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He served with the U.S. Army from 1955 until 1961. After retiring from IBM, Tom and family started Accent Systems, Inc. in 1987. Tom is survived by his loving wife Mary and children: Rob (Pam), Tom (Jean), Jim (Vicki), Jill (Pat) Amato, Lynn (Kenney) Frank, Michael (Kim), Don (D’Nai), Kevin (Melaina); 21 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 9:00-11:00 am, Thursday, December 20, 2018, mass at 11:00 AM, at Pax Christi Catholic Church with Inurnment immediately following. In lieu of flowers please donate to Birthright, 2134 Nicholasville Rd Unit 6, Lexington, KY 40503.
