Leona Mae Roberts
March 12th, 1947 - January 23rd, 2019
Leona Mae Roberts, 71, widow of Kenneth Wayne Roberts, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at her home. She was born in Frankfort, Kentucky to the late John Oather and Ludie Leona Utley Crank on March 12, 1947. Leona worked for IBM for 30 years and was a lifelong member of Trinity Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Amy Roberts, Lexington and Sherri Roberts, Lexington; sister, Maxine Abbott, AL; grandchildren, Joshua Roberts, Emalee Little and McKayla Cloyd; special friends and family, Melissa “Cool Whip” Bostic, Lexington, Margie Whitlock, Lexington, and Toby Perkins, Cynthiana. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Harriet Harp and brothers, Roger Crank, Raymond Crank and Gordon Crank. Funeral Service will be 7:00PM Monday, January 28, 2019 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. Visitation will be from 5:00PM until time of service.
