Betty and Mel were married in 1940 and moved to work the family farm in Crain Valley, Sask. In 1948 they moved to Seattle with their young daughter Faith. She loved the Lord with all her heart and never forgot to pray and thank God for all of her blessings. She inspired many to follow with her crafting and encouraged their creativity to travel pathways yet unseen. Betty was always working on one project or another in her sewing room. Betty and Mel loved to entertain and she cooked amazing meals as he played host to their guests. Betty is survived by her daughter Faith and son-in-law Frank Fadden, her grand children Mark and wife Brenda Fadden, Trent Fadden and Kim and her husband Paul Edwards, as well as her 3 great grandchildren Craig Fadden, Cody Fadden and Paige Fadden and numerous nieces and nephews in the United States and Canada. Betty was preceded in death by not only her husband Melvin, but her brother Ben Lucas and her sister Jessie McKibben. Her friendly attitude and engaging smile will be missed by all who knew her. I will really miss you Mom, but I will see you again. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date to be announced by her family. REMEMBER ME WITH LAUGHTER AS THAT IS HOW I REMEMBER YOU. IF YOU CAN ONLY REMEMBER ME WITH TEARS, THEN DONT REMEMBER ME AT ALL.
