Challys Maybee

Challys Lee Maybee was born August 19, 1992 in Pueblo Colorado to two very lucky parents Christa and Thomas. Unfortunately for us she passed away on July 7, 2017. She was artistic, brilliant, funny, loving, beautiful, messy, emphatic, clumsy, and argumentative. Challys loved her friends and her music. Red Rocks was her church. She had strong opinions about everything and loved to share them, but part of her beauty was she always open to hear the other side so she could understand you, even though she knew you were wrong. Challys gave the best hugs, the kind where she wrapped her little body around yours really tight and squeezed hard. I miss that so much. She had the greatest smile, she smiled with her whole face, and I will miss that too. She has passed just 7 months after her uncle Stephen Rodman who was her best friend, so she is not alone. Unfortunately, Challys was a drug user and it killed her. She had an addictive personality and never did anything halfway she was always on the move. She never slept very much, I think she always knew she didn’t have much time. So, in Challys’ memory if you have an addiction that is ruining your life please ask for help.
