Margaret Jo Brandt
November 25th, 1946 - November 13th, 2015
On Nov. 13, 2015, Margaret Brandt was called home and joined our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in Heaven. Margaret is survived by her husband of 49 years, Dennis Brandt; her four children: David, Eric, Christopher, and Raynee Devine; her 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; her mother Retha, and siblings Robert, Linda and Anita (Bill). She was the oldest of four children and graduated from Mountlake Terrace High School in 1965. In 1966 she married Dennis Brandt and spent the next 28 years with her husband and family traveling the world complements of the United States Air Force. In 1993, Dennis and Margaret settled in Silverdale, Washington and built their dream home. There, she operated a successful child daycare, Grandmas House Daycare, where she had the opportunity to touch many childrens lives. In 2008, they retired to their 37-foot 5 th Wheel and traveled the American countryside as snow birds. She spent her winters in Salome, AZ. Margaret was diagnosed with glioblastoma, terminal brain cancer in June of 2015. She spent her last 5 months in Lynnwood, Washington surrounded by her family and friends living life to its fullest. Margaret passed from this world on Friday, November 13, 2015 at 12:33 p.m. listening to Amazing Grace by Elvis Prestly, her favorite artist. Good Bye beloved; wife, mother, grandma, daughter, sister, aunt and friend! She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. A Memorial will be held at 1pm on January 16, 2016 at Seattle Baptist Church, 24228 76 th Avenue W, Edmonds, WA 98026; with Committal at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.
