Beryle Elizabeth Wynakos

Age 78, passed away peacefully on Feb. 19, 2012. Born in Seattle on Feb. 12, 1934, moved to Santa Monica, California, in 1938 with her family where she lived until returning to Seattle to attend the UW. At that time she worked as an assistant buyer at Fredrick Nelson and met her husband of 54 years, Ed Wynakos. Beryle loved her friends, family, and especially her grandchildren. Working as a travel agent for almost 40 years, she was blessed to travel the world and worked tirelessly for excellence in education by serving on many school boards. In addition, Beryle taught Sunday school for many years as she loved the Lord and wanted to ensure her children and others knew Him as well. Beryle, will be greatly missed and is survived by her Children: Effie Pappas, Michael (Cindy) Wynakos, Stacy Smalls, and Jennie (Jay) Lorenz. Her grandchildren, Marina Pappas, Elizabeth Hunt, Michael Vergonet, Kathryn Smith, Zachary Wynakos, Alexander Wynakos and Lukus Lorenz; and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Ed Wynakos, daughter, Maria Vergonet, grandson Dean Pappas, son-in-law, Angelo Pappas, and sister, Carole Johnstone.
