Larry Clay Pritchett

Frankfort – Larry Clay Pritchett, 70, husband of Debbie Pritchett, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2019. He was born in Winchester on June 29, 1949 to the late Gilbert and Edna Marie Williams Pritchett Sr. He retired from the US Postal Service and was a Veteran of the US Army having served in Vietnam. Larry was a member of West Frankfort Church of God and was the former president of the American Postal Workers Union. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Timothy Clay (Heather) Pritchett, OH, and Bethany (Don) Lee, Lexington; his step-children, Becky (Todd) Yonker, Shelbyville, Rodney ( Tammy) Reynolds, AL, Daphne Reynolds, Louisville, and Andrew Newton, Lawrenceburg; his brothers and sisters, Randy (Kathy) Pritchett, Frankfort, Rita (Joel) Lyons, AZ, Jerry W. Pritchett, Paris, Pamela Pritchett, Lexington, and Gilbert F. (Brenda Sue) Pritchett Jr., Frankfort; his grandchildren, Alli Nicole Stewart, Ryan Reynolds, Aaron Yonker, Nancy Yonker, Austin Reynolds, Kurigan Pritchett, Zachery Reynolds, Koniger Pritchett, Hadley Newton, Aliva Newton, Donovan Jacob Lee, Braxton Newton, and Emmabelle Grace Lee; and his 3 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Rev. Gene Hamon will be officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be Don Lee, Tim Pritchett, Andrew Newton, Rodney Reynolds, Randy Pritchett Sr., and Randy Pritchett Jr. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Monday, October 28, 2019 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors Project.
