Lucy McMacken

Lucy McMacken, a long time Denver resident, was taken on Saturday, November 28th to rest after a long battle with cancer. Born in 1933 in Huerfano county, she worked at St Joseph hospital until she retired. Lucy loved crafts, sewing, cooking, bingo, and spending time with family. Lucy was a loving mother to Janet, Joyce, and Lawrence. Lucy also helped raise her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by daughter Joyce Aguilera and her husband Gabriel, Janet Esparza and her husband Federico, son Lawrence Griego and his wife Nancy, and Herman Martinez, siblings Jennie Duran and her husband Gerald, Martha Garcia, Julian Martinez and wife Jan, grandchildren Monica Aguilera and husband Chris Caputo, Veronica Aguilera and Wess Wells, Gabriel Aguilera and wife Marcy, Angela Rey and husband Anthony, Alex Esparza, Laura, Liz, Vinny, Lawrence, and Tony, great grandchildren Analicia Valdez, Arabella Rey, Skylar Wells, Dorian Caputo, and Gabriel and Monique Aguilera, mother in law Louise Ortega, numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Martin and Leonarda Martinez, husband Gabriel Martinez, daughter Vickie Martinez, and siblings Frank Martinez, Marty Martinez, Linda Montoya, and Flora Aragon.
