Fernande Annette Mead

“Fernande Annette Mead 1927-2013 Fernande Annette Mead died peacefully on March 11 at Aspen Siesta, the assisted nursing facility in Denver, Colorado, where she had been a resident for the last two years. Born in Paris, France, in 1927, she was the daughter of Albert Eugene and Suzanne Rosset Comte. She was married for 53 years to Albert William Mead who predeceased her in 1999. She is survived by her son, Eric Albert Mead and his wife Joyce Larson, of Lakewood, Colorado, her daughter, Michelle Annette Mead-Armor, of Highlands, North Carolina, her grandson, Mark Adam Mead and great granddaughters, Sydney and Madeleine Mead, of Centennial, Colorado, her granddaughter, Erica Audra Mead Thornton and her husband, Clancy Thornton, and great grandsons, Jacob and Matthew Thornton. She is also survived by her brother, Pierre Comte, of Metz, France, her sister, Francine Comte Nelson, of Vernon, France, and her brother, Gilbert Comte, of Paris, France, as well as by her nieces and nephews.
