Douglas Dale Hill, 53, passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 11, 2020. He was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on March 26, 1967 to Ila Hill and the late Danny Joe Hill. Doug was employed by the IT Communications Department at the University of Kentucky. Prior to UK, he spent 24 years working for the cable company in Lexington. Doug enjoyed dealing with computers and watching television. His favorites being UK sports and The Big Bang Theory. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Denise Hill, Lexington; his brother, David (Jennifer) Hill, GA; nephews, Cameron, Evan, and Nicholas ; niece Kathryn; and his special friends, Damon Moberly and Paul Banks. Visitation will be from 11am until 1pm. Funeral Service will be 1:00PM Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing with Pastor Brian Burkhead officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Serving as casketbearers will be Damon Moberly, Johnny Estes, Josh Vest, Justin Vest, Nathan Moberly, and Chad Saylor. Reception to follow Graveside Service at Churchill Crossings Clubhouse. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your local Humane Society.
