Jesse Matthew Averitt

Jesse Matthew Averitt, 28, passed away March 4, 2021. He was born in Alamogordo, New Mexico on April 11, 1992. Jesse was a 2010 graduate of Lafayette High School, Scapa Arts Student and was a University of Kentucky Nursing Student. Jesse worked as an LPN at Eastern State Hospital. He loved to draw and was an avid gamer. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Matthew Averitt. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother and stepfather Lea Ann and Michael Cooley, Nicholasville; fiancé, Brandon Ward, Lexington; sister, Hannah Averitt, Lexington, brother, Jake Averitt, Nicholasville; maternal grandparents, Robert and Kathleen Lewis, Lexington and paternal grandparents, Bob and Carolyn Averitt, Lexington. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be Wednesday, March 10, 2021 from 4:00-6:00PM at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 6:00PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fayette County Humane Society
