James "Jim" Allen Peoski
May 22nd, 1944 - September 24th, 2021
James Allen Peoski, Sr., 77, husband of Sue Peoski, passed away Friday, September 24, 2021. Jim, as everyone referred to him, was born in Canton, Ohio to the late Anthony and Ann Peoski on May 22, 1944. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired from LexMark-IMB as an office products engineer. He was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast, belonging to the Man-O-War Harley Owners Group and KY Harley’s Owners Group. He went on many motorcycle adventures in Kentucky and up and down the East Coast with his wife and Harley Davidson family. Jim was a jack of all trades. When not riding his Harley, he would enjoy classic cars and watching old western movies. Referred to as "The Legend" by his son, Mark, Jim leaves his legacy of a generous and kind heart, strong work ethic, and a distinctive laugh with a playful sense of humor. This humor, love of adventure and hard work, was shared with his family, near and far. In addition to his wife of 22 years, he will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Nancy (Darrell) Newhouse, OH; his son, Mark (Susan) Peoski, FL; stepdaughter, Christy Johnson, Lexington; grandchildren, Joseph (Brittaney) Peoski, Karolyn (Andreas) Reed, Parker Peoski and Alexander Johnson; and great grandchildren, Lenna Reed, Andreas Reed, Jr., Jason Peoski and Jacob Peoski. He was preceded in death by his eldest son, James Allen Peoski, Jr. Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Shriner’s Hospital for Children, or the Wounded Warrior Project.
