He worked 42 years at the Carnation Co., interrupted by 3 years of service in the US Army in Japan. He was devoted to his family, his church and enjoyed reading, gardening, travel and his many friends. 0.1in A Memorial Service will be held at 3:30pm, Sunday, September 27, 2009 at Bethel Presbyterian Church, 11002 Greenwood Ave. N, Seattle, Washington, 98133 where he was a long-time member.
