Francis (Frank) Corea, Jr. born April 24th, 1952 in Williamson, West Virginia, son of Frank and Margaret Corea, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family on January 4th, 2022. Frank was a graduate of Bryan Station High School and received a BA in Political Science from Eastern Kentucky University. He was an avid gardener, wonderful cook, and family man. Frank attended Pax Christi Catholic Church where he was a leader in the church and a proud member of Catholic Men’s Servant Leaders. He loved Bluegrass music, sports, and spending time with his family and friends. Frank had never met a stranger, and influenced many lives with the wise and confident way that he led his. His laugh was infectious, and his incredible sense of humor ensured that those who spent time with him would never leave without a smile on their face. He will be missed by many - but his memory will live forever. He is survived by his wife Linda Corea; children Monica (Tim) Holt, Frank (Bethany) Corea III, Annamaria Corea (Sarah Brown); grandchildren Alex (Morgan) Holt, Nathanial Holt; Brother-in-law Jack T. Blevins, Sr.; Sister-in-law Mary (Jeff) Treadway; Nieces and nephew Tomi Anne (Royce) Pulliam; Teri Blevins (Mario) Moceri; Jack T. (Veronica) Blevins, Jr.; Tina Blevins (Jim) Pellechia; Great nieces and nephews Mia Pulliam, Maggie Pulliam, Christian Blevins and Brice (Cate) Krieger, Lilly Gray and Beckett. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Anna Corea and Mary Margaret Blevins. There will be a service at Pax Christi Catholic Church on Wednesday, January 12th, 2022 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
