Susan Morgan

Susan “Jody” Morgan was born August 15, 1951 in Columbus, Georgia. She was the youngest daughter of Phyllis Rosalee Pullen and Edward Lawrence Vaughn. After living in Germany for several years, Jody moved to Lawton, Oklahoma, where she graduated from Lawton High School in the class of 1969. She then moved to Los Angeles with her sister Penelope and worked in the advertising business. In 1978, Jody moved to Yakima, Washington, where she married Don Morgan. Together, they lived in Yakima, Portland, Oregon and finally settled in Centennial, Colorado where they raised their son Alex. Jody’s greatest joy in life was her family and friends and being a homemaker. She also spent many years teaching Sunday school and directing a children’s choir at Littleton Christian Church and Greenwood Community Church. Jody’s faith in God and hope for an eternal future sustained her through many years of illness. Her sarcastic sense of humor and “tell it like it is” personality sometimes caused conflicts, but her true friends loved her and stood by her. She is missed by all. Jody passed away on January 14th, 2017 and is survived by her son, Alex, her husband, Don, her sister, Michelle, her brother, Sparky and several nieces and nephews.
